Dover is a quaint village in the heart of the Deerfield Valley.You'll feel removed from the city, but can walk to restaurants and ski outfitters. Groceries can be picked about 15 minutes in Wilmington. National retail chains are available about 45 minutes away in either Bennington or Brattleboro.There are year round activities in the area. A rail trail runs in front of the home, and Harriman Reservoir is about 15 minutes away. During the summer golfing is available at the Mount Snow Golf Club.
Getting Around:
While MOOver shuttles are available, we recommend at least some of your group have access to acar for your stay. Rental car services are available in Bennington and Brattleboro. Several bus services are available from New York City and Boston during ski season.
The closest Amtrak service is the Vermonter in Brattleboro. It is possible to make multiple MOOver shuttles from Brattleboro to the house, we recommend a taxi/Lyft or renting a car. There are also bus services that connect to the Amtrak Station in Albany.
