Great cottage in Menemsha, highly recommend. Outfitted with an outdoor shower, an upstairs porch and a downstairs screened in porch, fireplace, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler. It felt like a home away from home. We caught the sunset, walked down to Menemsha public beach, took advantage of the amenities of the Menemsha Inn and had a fantastic experience.

The buoy cottage was on point. It was everything I needed and didn’t know I needed up island. I am very pleased to have been away from the bulk of the population, enjoyed the solitude and darkness, while basking in the sunsets and quiet. The property was clean, surroundings were safe, easy walk within grounds to head to Menemsha Beach in the am, and enjoy the solitude with my dog. Virginia was beyond a joy to be one of the only people I conversed with outside of Menemsha Fish Market and 7A. I would say off season MVY and Up Island is the way anyone should visit MVY. Understand the island and maintain its integrity. ♥️

This was an easy and relaxing stay. Our hosts communicated through text and had everything ready for us. I had no worries of Covid throughout our stay. The location and view were better than I expected and I am already planning a family trip back. It was definitely a peaceful escape, and there was always a town, beach, or trail to visit. We are explorers, but if you prefer to stay put they had trails and beach access from the property. I had expected a nice retreat from the craziness of lockdowns and politics and this trip left me feeling whole again. I cannot recommend enough.

Hi! I really feel so lucky that we were able to get a booking here and at a reasonable rate as I’m an artist and my mom is retired and we have island family here. The place was clean and perfect. Amazing views. Lots of animals and the beach walk was so nice. Thank you!
