Surrounded by National Park, Amy's by the Sea is an easy walk to the ocean beach via paved road for bicycles/strollers or via the 'back' trail to the bluffs overlooking the ocean, sand dunes and miles of quiet beauty. The back trail to the ocean also connects to the very rare White CedarTrail preserve and Marconi site.
A 1/2 mi walk in the other direction gives you direct access to the Bicycle Rail Trail and General Store/ Post Office. Avoid Rte 6 traffic by taking Ocean View Drive into town, harbor, or glacier ponds for a swim or kayaking. Cottage is only 1/2 hr drive to Provincetown for nightlife and terrific whale watching.
