The beach house is located directly on Barnstable Harbor with a private beach -- No need to decide whether to go to the beach, you're directly on it! The five bedroom house retains its comfortable and casual cottage feel, but now with fresh, upscale furnishings and finishes. The totally remodeled, fully equipped kitchen has new flooring and all new appliances. The makeover continues into the dining and living rooms with new flooring and furnishings. Eat inside or out! There's a picnic table from which to enjoy the water views of Sandy Neck Lighthouse across the harbor or take in the sunset each night. The views are more elevated and even more spectacular from the new roof top deck, accessible from the second level.
The house has five bedrooms. There's one main level Primary bedroom with a queen size bed, which now has a brand new private full bath en suite. Upstairs, there is another primary suite with private bath, this one with a big, comfortable king size bed. The other three bedrooms are also on the second level and include one with another queen size bed, one with bunks plus a single twin bed and finally, one with two twins. So almost any group configuration can be comfortably accommodated! Those last three bedrooms share another full bath on the second level.
This home is ideally situated. You can saunter over to Barnstable Harbor for a delicious meal at Mattakeese Wharf, fresh fish from Osterville Fish Too Market or hop on a whale watch boat, all within a five minute walk from the house! Head a little further into Barnstable Village for more dining options, a local market and gourmet coffee shop. Plan a trip out to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard from nearby Hyannis or spend a day exploring Main St. Hyannis and the JFK museum -- all a quick 10 minute car ride from the house. However, it will be tough to drag yourself away from one of the most superb waterfront locations on Cape Cod!
