Situated at the start of Wine Country on Long Island’s North Fork, this 2 bed/2 en-suite bath cottage is immaculately appointed and indeed a RARE FIND!!!! And still an easy commute to Manhattan if needed, for those who haven’t fully returned to the office and are continuing to mostly work from home.
Fully renovated cottage features 2 good size bedrooms (king & queen bed), each with their own private en-suite bathrooms with marble finishes. The cottage is fully furnished with designer touches throughout, original and limited edition art hang on the walls, hardwood flooring, fully equipped kitchen/dining area. Dedicated WiFi connection and Smart TV (Sling, Paramount Plus and other streaming services included).
Added bonus - newly installed universal Electric Vehicle Charger. So if you drive a Tesla or other EV, you’ll be fully charged to be out and about exploring the beautiful North Fork.
Guest Cottage overlooks the very pretty stables and is nestled within a private estate on ~3acres. The estate is surrounded by a 150+ acre preserve, so it’s not only charming but offers total tranquility and privacy... an escape from the world around.
Green grass, peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings, the cottage is walking distance to the beach, hiking trails for bird watching and many other amenities. Sit by the local duck pond after picking up your morning coffee or smoothie from Brekky cafe, order take out at Mesquite or North Tavern, pick up Clam Chowder, lobster roll or fresh fish from Blue Water Fish or dine overlooking the beach and Long Island Sound at Zagat rated La Plage; this area of Wading River is not widely known and so much to do all within walking distance.
First settled in the 1600’s, Wading River is home to many historic houses and the area around is also a foodie’s delight. The guest house is easily accessible to zagat rated restaurants like La Plage, local cafe’s for your morning coffee, fresh fruit and vegetables from the multiple local farmer’s markets, butchers, award winning wineries, bakers making fruit pies with fruit grown in local orchards, cheese and charcuterie stores, and not to mention a 10,000 square foot full service spa at the local East Winds along with public golf courses.
And if you need your fix for the Hamptons, then Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor is a short drive away, as is the rest of the North Fork, along with the seaside village of Port Jefferson.
But honestly, once you’re here, you’ll most likely want to stay and relax as everything is within a few minutes walk or drive. And not to mention that Wholefoods delivers.
BBQ outside on the lawn with the charcoal grill, or curl up with a good book on the deck chairs and blanket under the mature trees.
Ideally suited for couples who want a longer stay and wish to combine working remotely with a vacation feel. Minimum stay 28 days only.
