The Trapp Family Resort traces its roots back to 1947 when Maria Von Trapp and her family unveiled a 27-room ski lodge. Over the years, the resort has expanded significantly, now boasting 96 rooms in the Main Lodge, along with 100 Guest Houses and 18 Villas sprawled across 2,500 acres of picturesque terrain in Stowe, Vermont. This vast estate includes nearly 30 miles of meticulously groomed ski trails and an array of mountain biking paths.
Infused with Austrian-inspired architecture and European-style accommodations, the Trapp Family Lodge is currently overseen by Maria Von Trapp's son, Johannes, and her grandchildren.
