The space
Kalia’s Mountain Momma Getaway is a finished walk out basement. We are very excited to host guests at our place and have designed our basement to be a quiet little getaway for a couple or small family.
Your safety is important to us and as a result of the “bedroom” space not having a window, we have deliberately not put a door to close off the “bedroom” space; we want to ensure there is alway access to a way out of the .
Guest access
There is a gravel parking area for guests as well as a paved parking area under the back deck of the house. Guests are free to park in either/both of those locations. If additional space is needed, please communicate that prior to arrival
Other things to note
We love our neighbors and want to maintain good relationships with our community, so we ask our guests to be considerate of the following:
-No loud music between 11p-7a
-If in the yard, please stay in our yard (this side of the tree lines)
Additionally, the drive to the house is all on paved roads in Shannondale except the 50 feet on our road to our paved driveway. We recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle as the driveway is a little steep, but it is not necessary, as I drive a little front wheel drive car.
