Summary: Thank you, Marlena!-- she was one of our best hosts ever for our stay. (Really, everything in the listing was a bit understated.) Ideal Beach (2 1/2 little blocks) from our stay is one of the cleanest (and least crowded) beaches we've ever visited, with views of New York City through the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in the distance. It's also a great beach for swimming or paddleboarding. Wow! Our single-family bungalow (an upgrade from most condos or townhomes), with its large swim-spa, has its own private back yard. The inside is quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed including a full washer and dryer. Marlena is a Gem of a host to work with: very helpful and accommodating, keeping in touch with us by text, responding to all our questions before, during, and after our stay. We wish we could show you some photos! -- think about it: a bright orange and scarlet sunset at the end of long beach, straight and wide and clean; it's just you and the birds, the light laughter of your loved ones, and the lighter lapping of a grand and gentle ocean, calling you in for one last dip before it gets too dark for you to find your warm towel.
