Access is easy in summer: the 3 km of track leading to the chalet are regularly maintained and passable by all types of vehicles in normal conditions!
❄️Winter: Live a unique experience by reaching the chalet directly on skis. Take a "Espace Découverte Chantemerle" ski pass (≈ €20), take the gondolas to the Chantemerle resort and, once you arrive at the Ratier section, let yourself slide for 5 minutes on the famous Luc Alphand slope before reaching your snowy refuge. Beginner skiers are not left out: the La Briance green slope will offer you a gentle and accessible descent to the chalet.
To take full advantage of this timeless interlude, good organization is essential. Prepare your backpacks carefully, taking everything you need as well as your meals.
